1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Aria: AI Companion Chat ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Aria: AI Companion Chat is an AI companion and character chat application that provides:

  • Swipe to discover and match with AI companion characters
  • High-fidelity AI chat with memory of your conversations
  • Relationship XP, levels, and milestones
  • Character and profile personalization with photos
  • Optional iCloud sync across your devices

3. Eligibility

The App is available to anyone who downloads it from the Apple App Store. By using the App, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.

4. Accounts

Aria: AI Companion Chat does not require an account or registration. No login, email, or password is needed to use any feature. All data is stored locally on your device, with optional iCloud sync to your private iCloud database.

5. AI-Generated Content

Aria's AI characters use artificial intelligence (via Groq) to generate replies. AI characters are fictional, and their messages are provided for entertainment and companionship only — they are not real people and do not represent professional, medical, or psychological advice. The developer makes no guarantees regarding their accuracy, appropriateness, or emotional reliability. Your chat text is transmitted to Groq; see the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

6.1 Aria Premium Subscription

Aria Premium is available as auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and annual) or a lifetime one-time purchase, unlocking:

  • Unlimited AI chat messages (free tier has daily limits)
  • Premium AI characters and personas
  • Extended conversation memory
  • Unlimited super-likes and boosts
  • Full relationship and memory features

6.2 Free Tier

The free tier includes a daily allowance of AI chat messages, basic matching, and core conversation features.

6.3 Payment and Renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

6.4 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple Account Settings.

6.5 Restore Purchases

If you have previously purchased a subscription, you can restore it through the "Restore Purchases" button within the App.

6.6 Apple Standard EULA

In-app purchases are subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its code, design, graphics, and content, belong to Umit UZ. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, copy, or distribute the App or its content
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass subscription validation mechanisms

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. The developer does not guarantee that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • AI characters will be appropriate, consistent, or emotionally reliable
  • The App will meet your specific requirements or expectations

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Umit UZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to emotional reliance on AI characters or reliance on AI messages for personal, psychological, or relationship decisions.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
