1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how LovMe: AI Relationship Coach ("the App") handles your information. LovMe: AI Relationship Coach is an AI relationship coach application for couples developed by Umit UZ with an AI coach, shared memories, milestones, zodiac compatibility, and tarot.

LovMe is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your memories, milestones, and chats stay on your device. The App does not require an account. Messages you send to your AI coach are shared with a third-party AI service only to generate replies (described below).

2. Information We Collect

LovMe does not collect personal information on remote servers. Your memories, milestones, chat history, and preferences are stored locally on your device. No data leaves your device except AI-coach chat requests (described below).

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Memories & milestones: Shared memories (with optional photos), dates, icons, notes, and relationship milestones
  • AI coach chats: Your conversations with the AI relationship coach
  • Cosmos: Your zodiac signs, compatibility results, and tarot reading history
  • Profile & preferences: Partner details, onboarding choices, and display settings
  • Subscription status: Whether you have an active premium subscription (cached for offline access)

2.2 AI Coach Messages

When you chat with the AI relationship coach, your messages (plus a system prompt and your on-device conversation history) are sent to Groq (via the Groq API) over HTTPS to generate a reply. No personal identity information beyond the message text, and no device identifiers, are included.

3. No Account or Login Required

LovMe: AI Relationship Coach does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Groq AI

LovMe's AI relationship coach is powered by Groq's API. When you send a message, your chat text is sent to Groq to generate a reply. Groq's handling of this data is governed by Groq's own privacy policy. The Groq API key is the developer's bundled key.

4.2 Apple StoreKit

Subscriptions are processed by Apple's StoreKit framework through the App Store. LovMe does not handle or store payment information.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

LovMe: AI Relationship Coach does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

LovMe: AI Relationship Coach requires an internet connection only for:

  • AI relationship coach chat via the Groq API
  • Subscription validation via Apple StoreKit (when purchasing or restoring)
  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support)

Browsing memories, milestones, zodiac compatibility, and saved tarot readings works offline. The AI coach and subscription purchases require an internet connection.

7. Photo Picker

LovMe uses the iOS photo picker (PHPicker) so you can attach a photo to a memory. The picker grants LovMe access only to the specific photo you select — LovMe cannot browse your full photo library, and no photo is uploaded. Selected photos are stored locally on your device.

8. Data Sharing

LovMe: AI Relationship Coach does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

9. Children's Privacy

LovMe: AI Relationship Coach is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. LovMe is intended for adults. The App is not directed at children under the age of 13.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete memories, milestones, and chats, or reset your data from within the App. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.

11. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
