1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Sketcy: Learn To Draw Anything ("the App") handles your information. Sketcy: Learn To Draw Anything is a drawing and creative learning application developed by Umit UZ that helps you learn to draw through personalized guidance and practice exercises.

Sketcy is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your drawings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded to any server. The App does not require an account to draw.

2. Information We Collect

Sketcy does not collect personal information on remote servers. Your artwork is stored exclusively on your device. The only data that optionally syncs to your personal iCloud is project metadata and learning progress.

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Artwork: Your drawings and paintings, including all canvas layers, strokes, and imported reference photos — stored only on your device
  • Projects: Project names, creation dates, and layer structure
  • Learning progress: Personalized learning roadmap, XP, level, completed exercises, achievements, and daily streaks
  • Practice exercises: Tracing, shapes, line control, and speed-sketching exercise progress
  • Tools & preferences: Selected drawing tools, brush settings, Apple Pencil preferences, and UI preferences
  • Onboarding data: Your creative goals and selected focus areas (logos, UI, illustration, sketching)
  • Subscription status: Whether you have an active Pro subscription (cached for offline access)

2.2 Keychain Storage

Your subscription status is cached in the system Keychain (Apple's secure, encrypted storage) by RevenueCat for offline entitlement verification.

2.3 Optional iCloud Sync

Sketcy can sync your project metadata and learning progress across your Apple devices using your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud database and is not accessible to the developer. Your actual drawings remain on your device. You can disable iCloud sync for Sketcy at any time through your device's iCloud settings.

3. No Account or Login Required

Sketcy: Learn To Draw Anything does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 RevenueCat

Sketcy uses RevenueCat for subscription management, receipt validation, and entitlement tracking. RevenueCat processes only the standard Apple App Store transaction data required to validate your subscription. No artwork, personal information, or usage data is shared with RevenueCat.

4.2 Apple StoreKit and CloudKit

StoreKit processes subscription payments. CloudKit handles optional iCloud sync of project metadata and learning progress. Both are Apple frameworks — no third party is involved.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

Sketcy: Learn To Draw Anything does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

Sketcy: Learn To Draw Anything requires an internet connection only for:

  • Subscription validation via RevenueCat (when purchasing or restoring)
  • Optional iCloud sync of project metadata and learning progress
  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support)

All drawing, layering, practice exercises, and learning features work fully offline.

7. Artwork Storage

All artwork you create is stored locally on your device. Sketcy never uploads your drawings to any server. Only project metadata and learning progress may sync to your personal iCloud — never the artwork itself.

8. Data Sharing

Sketcy: Learn To Draw Anything does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

9. Children's Privacy

Sketcy: Learn To Draw Anything is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete individual projects from within the App at any time. Deleting the App from your device removes all locally stored artwork and data. iCloud-synced metadata and progress can be managed through your Apple iCloud settings.

11. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
