1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Coloer: Color Palette Studio ("the App") handles your information. Coloer: Color Palette Studio is a color palette creation and management application developed by Umit UZ with harmony rules, photo extraction, multi-format export, and WCAG contrast checking.

Coloer is designed with privacy as a core principle. All color generation runs locally on your device. The App does not require an account and does not collect personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Coloer does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on remote servers. Your saved palettes, favorites, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device. No analytics, tracking, or AI services are used.

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Saved palettes: Palettes you create or save, with names, tags, and favorites
  • Created palettes: Palettes in progress and your manual color-slot edits
  • Preferences: Default color format (HEX / RGB / HSL / CMYK), view mode, and display settings
  • Subscription status: Whether you have an active Pro subscription (cached for offline access)

2.2 Keychain Storage

Your subscription status is cached in the system Keychain (Apple's secure, encrypted storage) for offline entitlement verification.

3. No Account or Login Required

Coloer: Color Palette Studio does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 RevenueCat

Coloer uses RevenueCat (via a SwiftRevenueCat wrapper) for subscription and in-app-purchase management. RevenueCat validates purchase receipts with Apple only; no user data is sent beyond what Apple provides for receipt validation.

4.2 Apple StoreKit

In-app-purchase transactions are processed by Apple's StoreKit framework through the App Store. Coloer does not handle or store any payment information.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

Coloer: Color Palette Studio does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

Coloer: Color Palette Studio requires an internet connection only for:

  • Subscription validation via RevenueCat (when purchasing or restoring)
  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support)

All palette creation, harmony generation, color conversion, contrast checking, and photo extraction work fully offline.

7. Camera & Photo Library Access

Coloer uses the camera only when you choose the Camera creation mode to extract dominant colors from a new photo, and your photo library only when you pick a photo for color extraction or save a palette image. Color extraction happens entirely on your device — no photo is uploaded. Camera access is requested only at that moment, and either permission can be withdrawn at any time in iOS Settings.

8. Data Sharing

Coloer: Color Palette Studio does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

9. Children's Privacy

Coloer: Color Palette Studio is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete individual palettes or clear your saved palettes from within the App. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.

11. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
