1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PhotoQuest: Daily Challenges ("the App") handles your information. PhotoQuest: Daily Challenges is a daily photography challenge application developed by Umit UZ with daily creative themes, a pro-grade camera, streaks, and achievements.

PhotoQuest is a local-first application. Your photos and data belong to you and are stored securely on your device. The App does not require an account and does not collect personal information.

2. Information We Collect

PhotoQuest does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on remote servers. All your photos, submissions, and progress are stored locally on your device. No photo content is ever uploaded.

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Photos & submissions: Photos you capture or select for daily challenges and your submission history
  • Progress: XP, level, daily streak, and unlocked achievement badges
  • Profile: Your avatar, bio, and showcased badges
  • Onboarding & preferences: Your photography goals, style preferences, skill level, and theme

3. No Account or Login Required

PhotoQuest: Daily Challenges does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

PhotoQuest uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks. Camera capture and photo storage are handled locally on your device.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

PhotoQuest: Daily Challenges does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

PhotoQuest: Daily Challenges requires an internet connection only for:

  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support)

All quests, capture, photo storage, streaks, and achievements work fully offline.

7. Camera & Photo Library Access

PhotoQuest uses the camera to take photos and your photo library to select photos for your daily challenges. Camera access is requested only when you capture a photo, and photo-library access only when you choose an existing photo. All selected or captured photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded. You can withdraw either permission at any time in iOS Settings.

8. Data Sharing

PhotoQuest: Daily Challenges does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

9. Children's Privacy

PhotoQuest: Daily Challenges is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

You can remove individual photos and submissions, or reset your progress, from within the App. Deleting the App removes all locally stored photos and data.

11. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
