1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Eddo: Flashcard Maker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Eddo: Flashcard Maker is a flashcard and quiz learning application that provides:

  • Create and manage flashcard decks
  • AI-powered quiz generation from your flashcards
  • Spaced-repetition learning to optimize retention
  • Learning progress and mastery tracking
  • Quiz history with results

3. Eligibility

The App is available to anyone who downloads it from the Apple App Store. By using the App, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.

4. Accounts

Eddo: Flashcard Maker does not require an account or registration. No login, email, or password is needed to use any feature. All data is stored locally on your device.

5. AI-Generated Content

Eddo uses artificial intelligence (via Groq) to generate quizzes and study material from your flashcards. AI-generated content is provided for study assistance only; the developer makes no guarantees regarding its accuracy, completeness, or suitability, and you should verify important information independently. Your flashcard text is transmitted to Groq for processing; see the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

Eddo is entirely free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no ads.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its code, design, graphics, and content, belong to Umit UZ. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, copy, or distribute the App or its content
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass subscription validation mechanisms

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. The developer does not guarantee that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • AI-generated quizzes will be accurate, complete, or appropriate
  • The App will improve your learning outcomes

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Umit UZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated study content.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
