1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how FunnyFeed: AI Comedy Studio ("the App") handles your information. FunnyFeed: AI Comedy Studio is an AI comedy and joke generation application developed by Umit UZ that generates jokes, memes, and comedy coaching on demand.

FunnyFeed is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your favorites and history stay on your device. The App does not require an account. The text prompts you enter are sent to third-party AI services only to generate comedy content (described below).

2. Information We Collect

FunnyFeed does not collect personal information on remote servers. Your favorites, generation history, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device. No data leaves your device except for AI generation requests (described below).

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Favorites: Jokes and memes you have saved
  • Generation history: Your recent AI-generated jokes and memes
  • Progress: Daily comedy goals, XP, level, and unlocked badges
  • Preferences: Selected comedy vibes / categories, AI avatar customization, and display settings
  • Onboarding data: Pre-selected vibes and onboarding completion

2.2 Data Transmitted to Third Parties

When you generate a joke or meme, your text prompt and selected comedy vibe are sent to Groq (for AI text generation) and/or Imgflip (for meme captioning) to produce content. These transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS. No personal identity information, account data, or device identifiers is included in these requests. The API credentials used are bundled with the App and are not yours.

3. No Account or Login Required

FunnyFeed: AI Comedy Studio does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Groq AI

FunnyFeed uses Groq's API (Llama model) to generate jokes, roasts, and comedy-coaching text. When you request content, your prompt and selected vibe are sent to Groq. Groq's handling of this data is governed by Groq's own privacy policy. The Groq API key is the developer's bundled key.

4.2 Imgflip

FunnyFeed uses the Imgflip API to caption and generate memes. The text you provide for a meme is sent to Imgflip along with the developer's bundled Imgflip credentials. No personal information is shared with Imgflip beyond the meme text you submit.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

FunnyFeed: AI Comedy Studio does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

FunnyFeed: AI Comedy Studio requires an internet connection only for:

  • AI joke and comedy generation via the Groq API
  • Meme generation via the Imgflip API
  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support)

Browsing your saved favorites and generation history works offline. Generating new jokes, memes, or comedy coaching requires an internet connection.

7. Data Sharing

FunnyFeed: AI Comedy Studio does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

8. Children's Privacy

FunnyFeed: AI Comedy Studio is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. FunnyFeed contains user-directed comedy that may include mature humor categories (such as Dark Humor). The App is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

You can clear your favorites and generation history from within the App. Deleting the App from your device removes all locally stored content.

10. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
