1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Sudody: Learn & Play Sudoku ("the App") handles your information. Sudody: Learn & Play Sudoku is a classic Sudoku puzzle game developed by Umit UZ with 6 difficulty levels, daily challenges, and detailed statistics.

Sudody is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App does not require an account and works fully offline. No personal data is collected, sold, or shared.

2. Information We Collect

Sudody does not collect any personal information on remote servers. All gameplay data is stored locally on your device with one optional exception: iCloud sync of your game progress.

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Game state: Current puzzle, entered numbers, pencil-mark notes, and move history (undo up to 100 moves) — auto-saved so you can resume
  • Statistics: Win rates, best times, average times, games played, and streak counts broken down by difficulty level
  • Daily challenge: Daily challenge completion status, seed-based puzzle data, and solve times
  • Streaks: Current and best daily-challenge streaks and last-played date
  • Preferences: Selected difficulty, notes mode, error checking, highlight settings, sound, and haptic preferences
  • Onboarding data: Whether you have completed the introduction flow

2.2 Optional iCloud Sync

Sudody can sync your game progress and statistics across your Apple devices using your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud database and is not accessible to the developer. You can disable iCloud sync for Sudody at any time through your device's iCloud settings.

3. No Account or Login Required

Sudody: Learn & Play Sudoku does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

Sudody uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks. Optional iCloud sync uses Apple's CloudKit framework.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

Sudody: Learn & Play Sudoku does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

Sudody: Learn & Play Sudoku requires an internet connection only for:

  • Optional iCloud sync of your game progress
  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support)

All Sudoku gameplay — puzzles, daily challenges, notes, hints, and statistics — works fully offline without any network access.

7. Data Sharing

Sudody: Learn & Play Sudoku does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

8. Children's Privacy

Sudody: Learn & Play Sudoku is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

You can reset your statistics and game data from within the App's Settings. Deleting the App from your device also removes all locally stored data. iCloud-synced progress can be managed through your Apple iCloud settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
