1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how BerDO: AI Appearance Coach ("the App") handles your information. BerDO: AI Appearance Coach is an AI-powered self-care and appearance coaching application developed by Umit UZ with on-device appearance analysis and grooming routines.

BerDO is designed with privacy as a core principle. All appearance analysis is performed on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework — your photos are not uploaded. The App does not require an account.

2. Information We Collect

BerDO does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on remote servers. Your routine data, progress, and analysis results are stored locally on your device. Photos used for appearance analysis are processed on-device and never uploaded.

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Appearance analyses: On-device face-landmark analysis results (e.g. jawline, symmetry) derived from selfies — processed locally, never uploaded
  • Routines: Your skincare, hair, makeup, and fitness routines and reminders
  • Progress: Streaks, achievements, history, and before/after progress
  • Preferences: Categories, themes, and notification settings
  • Subscription status: Whether you have an active Pro subscription (cached for offline access)

2.2 Keychain Storage

Your subscription status is cached in the system Keychain (Apple's secure, encrypted storage) for offline entitlement verification.

3. No Account or Login Required

BerDO: AI Appearance Coach does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Apple Vision (on-device)

BerDO performs appearance analysis using Apple's on-device Vision framework (face-landmark detection). It runs entirely on your device; no photo is uploaded or transmitted.

4.2 RevenueCat

BerDO uses RevenueCat for subscription management and receipt validation. Only standard Apple App Store transaction data is processed; no photos or personal information are shared beyond what Apple provides.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

BerDO: AI Appearance Coach does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

BerDO: AI Appearance Coach requires an internet connection only for:

  • Subscription validation via RevenueCat (when purchasing or restoring)
  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support)

All analysis, routines, streaks, and progress work fully offline. Subscription purchases require an internet connection.

7. Camera & On-Device Analysis

BerDO uses the camera to capture selfies for appearance analysis. Analysis runs entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework — no photo is uploaded, stored on a server, or transmitted. Permission is requested the first time you capture a photo and can be withdrawn in iOS Settings.

8. Data Sharing

BerDO: AI Appearance Coach does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

9. Children's Privacy

BerDO: AI Appearance Coach is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

You can clear your analyses, routines, and data from within the App. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.

11. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
