1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FitIndex: BMI Calculator ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

FitIndex: BMI Calculator is a BMI, weight, and body-index tracking application that provides:

  • Precision BMI calculator with color-coded health gauges
  • BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) estimates for daily caloric needs
  • Daily weight, water intake, and caloric balance logging
  • Interactive historical charts and trend analysis
  • Weight targets with milestones and achievements
  • Animated water tracker with daily history

3. Eligibility

The App is available to anyone who downloads it from the Apple App Store. By using the App, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.

4. Accounts

FitIndex: BMI Calculator does not require an account or registration. No login, email, or password is needed to use any feature. All data is stored locally on your device.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

FitIndex is entirely free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no ads.

6. Health Disclaimer

FitIndex provides BMI, BMR, and body-index calculations for informational and motivational purposes only. The App is not a medical product and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. BMI and calorie estimates are general approximations and may not reflect your individual health status. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any diet, weight-loss, or exercise program.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its code, design, graphics, and content, belong to Umit UZ. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, copy, or distribute the App or its content
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass subscription validation mechanisms

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. The developer does not guarantee that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • BMI, BMR, or calorie estimates will be accurate or appropriate for you
  • The App will help you achieve any specific health or fitness result

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Umit UZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on BMI, calorie, or health estimates for medical or dietary decisions.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
