1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Heartino: Heart Monitor ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Heartino: Heart Monitor is a heart-rate and cardiovascular monitoring application that provides:

  • Camera-based (PPG) heart-rate measurement, plus manual BPM entry
  • Heart-rate variability (HRV) tracking and analysis
  • Blood-pressure logging with analysis
  • Exercise session recording with summaries
  • History with filtering, trends, insights, and a health report
  • Apple Health (HealthKit) read/write sync and an Apple Watch companion app

3. Eligibility

The App is available to anyone who downloads it from the Apple App Store. By using the App, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.

4. Accounts

Heartino: Heart Monitor does not require an account or registration. No login, email, or password is needed to use any feature. All data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to your personal Apple Health.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Heartino is entirely free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no ads.

6. Health & Medical Disclaimer

Heartino provides heart-rate, HRV, blood-pressure, and related measurements for informational and fitness purposes only. The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Camera-based heart-rate estimates may be inaccurate and should not be relied upon for medical decisions. Blood-pressure and HRV values depend on accurate manual entry and individual factors. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any cardiovascular condition or before making medical decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its code, design, graphics, and content, belong to Umit UZ. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, copy, or distribute the App or its content
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass subscription validation mechanisms

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. The developer does not guarantee that:

  • The App or its measurements will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free
  • Camera-based heart-rate readings will be clinically accurate
  • Insights or reports reflect your true medical or cardiovascular status

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Umit UZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on heart-rate, HRV, or blood-pressure measurements for medical decisions.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
