1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Kinetic: Gym & Workout Tracker ("the App") handles your information. Kinetic: Gym & Workout Tracker is a strength-training and workout tracking application developed by Umit UZ with a workout logger, algorithmic routine generation, analytics, and personal records.

Kinetic is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your workout data stays on your device, with optional iCloud and Apple Health sync that you control. The App does not require an account.

2. Information We Collect

Kinetic does not collect personal information on remote servers. Your workouts, sets, and progress are stored locally on your device. iCloud sync (optional) stores data only in your private iCloud database, and Apple Health sync (optional) shares data only through Apple's HealthKit — never with the developer.

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Workout logs: Sessions, exercises, sets, reps, weights, rest times, and dates
  • Analytics & PRs: Volume trends, intensity, muscle-group distribution, personal records, and achievements
  • Generated routines: Algorithmically generated routines tailored to your goals, muscle focus, and equipment
  • Goals & streaks: Weekly goals, streak tracking, and unlocked milestones
  • Preferences: Selected theme (Cobalt, Emerald, Midnight), units, and display settings
  • Sync settings: iCloud sync and Apple Health sync toggles

2.2 Optional iCloud Sync

Kinetic can sync your training data across your Apple devices using your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud database and is not accessible to the developer. You can enable or disable iCloud sync in the App's settings or through your device's iCloud settings.

3. No Account or Login Required

Kinetic: Gym & Workout Tracker does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Apple HealthKit

Kinetic integrates with Apple HealthKit to write workout data, subject to your permission. HealthKit runs entirely on your device through Apple's frameworks; no health data is shared with the developer or any third party.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

Kinetic: Gym & Workout Tracker does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

Kinetic: Gym & Workout Tracker requires an internet connection only for:

  • Optional iCloud sync of your training data
  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support)

All workout logging, routine generation, analytics, PRs, and achievements work fully offline. iCloud sync requires an internet connection.

7. Apple Health (HealthKit) Integration

Kinetic can optionally sync your workouts to Apple Health (HealthKit), subject to your permission. HealthKit data stays within Apple's frameworks and is never transmitted to the developer or any third party. You can grant or revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

8. Data Sharing

Kinetic: Gym & Workout Tracker does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

9. Children's Privacy

Kinetic: Gym & Workout Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

You can export your training history, reset your profile, and clear your data from within the App. Disconnecting iCloud or HealthKit in iOS Settings stops further sync. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.

11. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
