1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Meagrayn ("the App") handles your information. Meagrayn is a migraine tracker and trigger identifier developed by Umit UZ.

Meagrayn is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App does not require an account, and your data is stored locally on your device.

2. Information We Collect

Meagrayn stores your migraine tracking data locally on your device using secure local storage. Location data is used solely to correlate weather conditions with migraine occurrences and is processed entirely on-device. Location data is never shared with third parties.

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • User preferences and settings
  • App content and data you create

2.2 Local Storage

Your data is stored locally on your device: Migraine entries, trigger data, pain levels, medication logs, weather correlations, and app preferences. Meagrayn does not upload your personal health data to any server. If iCloud Sync is enabled, data is synced securely through your iCloud account using Apple CloudKit.

3. No Account or Login Required

Meagrayn does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone. Meagrayn uses the Open-Meteo API (which does not require an API key or personal data) for weather data only.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

Meagrayn does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

Meagrayn requires an internet connection only for:

  • Opening external links you tap (support page, privacy policy, terms of service)

All features run fully offline; no network access is required for the App to function.

7. Data Sharing

Meagrayn does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

8. Children's Privacy

Meagrayn is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. To delete all App data, you can:

  • Delete the App from your device, which removes all locally stored data
  • Reset the App's data through iOS Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Meagrayn > Delete App

No data exists on any remote server, so there is nothing to request deletion of from the developer.

10. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
