1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MedBook: Health & Appointments ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

MedBook: Health & Appointments is a personal healthcare appointment and medical-records management application that provides:

  • Manual medical appointment booking and provider / hospital management
  • Digital medical records — prescriptions, labs, vitals, allergies, and immunizations
  • Family / dependent health profiles and insurance tracking
  • Pharmacy management with medication reminders
  • Emergency contacts, SOS alerts, and local appointment reminders
  • AI health assistant for general health questions

3. Eligibility

The App is available to anyone who downloads it from the Apple App Store. By using the App, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.

4. Accounts

MedBook: Health & Appointments does not require an account or registration. No login, email, or password is needed to use any feature. All data is stored locally on your device.

5. AI-Generated Content

MedBook's AI health assistant uses artificial intelligence (via Groq) to generate responses. AI responses are general information only — NOT medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment — and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Never use AI responses to make medical decisions, start or stop a treatment, or in an emergency. Your questions are transmitted to Groq; see the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

MedBook is entirely free. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no ads.

7. Medical Disclaimer

MedBook does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information and AI responses provided in this App are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or the AI has generated in MedBook. In a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its code, design, graphics, and content, belong to Umit UZ. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, copy, or distribute the App or its content
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass subscription validation mechanisms

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. The developer does not guarantee that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Your stored records, reminders, or AI responses will be accurate, complete, or current
  • The App is suitable for diagnosis, treatment, or emergency use

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Umit UZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to any harm resulting from reliance on the App's records, reminders, or AI responses, or from delay in seeking professional medical care.

12. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
