1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Perry: Period & Pregnancy Tracker ("the App") handles your information. Perry: Period & Pregnancy Tracker is a menstrual cycle and pregnancy tracking application developed by Umit UZ with cycle predictions, symptom logging, pregnancy tools, and health insights.

Perry is designed for complete privacy. All your reproductive-health data stays on your device. The App does not require an account. Optional iCloud sync stores data only in your private iCloud database, never accessible to the developer.

2. Information We Collect

Perry does not collect personal information on remote servers. Your cycle logs, symptoms, pregnancy data, and journal are stored locally on your device, with optional iCloud sync to your private database. No health data is shared with the developer.

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Cycle data: Period dates, cycle and period length, flow intensity, 8 symptoms, 6 moods, and daily notes
  • Pregnancy data: Pregnancy-mode logs — weekly tracking, kicks, contractions, weight, water, appointments, journal, and birth plan
  • Predictions & insights: Period, ovulation, and fertile-window predictions, plus cycle statistics and regularity
  • Baby names & favorites: Saved and favorited baby names
  • Subscription status: Whether you have an active Pro subscription (cached for offline access)

2.2 Keychain Storage

Your subscription status is cached in the system Keychain (Apple's secure, encrypted storage) for offline entitlement verification.

2.3 Optional iCloud Sync

Perry can sync your cycle and pregnancy data across your Apple devices using your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud database and is not accessible to the developer. iCloud sync is a premium feature and is not enabled by default. You can disable it at any time through your device's iCloud settings.

3. No Account or Login Required

Perry: Period & Pregnancy Tracker does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Apple CloudKit

Perry uses Apple CloudKit (via a SwiftCloudKit wrapper) for optional iCloud sync of your data across your devices. It uses your private iCloud database only — there is no server-side logic and no data is accessible to the developer.

4.2 RevenueCat

Perry uses RevenueCat (via a SwiftRevenueCat wrapper) for subscription management and purchase validation. Only standard Apple App Store transaction data is processed; no health data or personal information is shared beyond what Apple provides for receipt validation.

4.3 Apple WidgetKit

The home-screen widget displays your current cycle day and phase. It reads only your on-device progress via a shared App Group container and does not make network connections.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

Perry: Period & Pregnancy Tracker does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

Perry: Period & Pregnancy Tracker requires an internet connection only for:

  • Subscription validation via RevenueCat (when purchasing or restoring)
  • Optional iCloud sync of your cycle and pregnancy data
  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support)

All tracking, logging, predictions, insights, and widgets work fully offline. iCloud sync and subscription purchases require an internet connection.

7. Data Sharing

Perry: Period & Pregnancy Tracker does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

8. Children's Privacy

Perry: Period & Pregnancy Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Perry is intended for adults. The App is not directed at children under the age of 13.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

You can export your data (JSON / CSV) and reset all data from within the App's settings. Disconnecting iCloud in iOS Settings stops further sync. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data; iCloud-synced data can be managed through your Apple iCloud settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
