1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Uvriex: UV Index Safety Monitor ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Uvriex: UV Index Safety Monitor is a UV-index and sun-safety monitoring application that provides:

  • Real-time UV index with a color-coded severity gauge
  • Personalized burn-time estimates based on your skin type (Fitzpatrick I-VI)
  • SPF calculator for protection duration and reapplication timing
  • 24-hour UV forecast charts and 7-day predictions
  • Location-based readings, saved locations, and UV-alert notifications
  • Radar map with a UV overlay

3. Eligibility

The App is available to anyone who downloads it from the Apple App Store. By using the App, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.

4. Accounts

Uvriex: UV Index Safety Monitor does not require an account or registration. No login, email, or password is needed to use any feature. All non-location data is stored locally on your device.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Uvriex is entirely free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no ads.

6. Health Disclaimer

Uvriex provides UV-index forecasts and burn-time estimates for informational purposes only. These are NOT medical advice and should not be relied upon for diagnosing or treating any health condition. UV levels can vary based on altitude, cloud cover, reflection, and individual skin sensitivity. Always consult a healthcare professional for personalized sun-protection guidance.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its code, design, graphics, and content, belong to Umit UZ. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, copy, or distribute the App or its content
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass subscription validation mechanisms

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. The developer does not guarantee that:

  • The App or its UV data will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free
  • Burn-time estimates will be accurate or safe for your skin
  • Forecast data will be current or complete

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Umit UZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to sunburn, skin damage, or other harm arising from reliance on UV or burn-time estimates.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
