1. Identity Document Data (Stored Locally Only)

All data is stored on YOUR device using secure local storage (React Native AsyncStorage):

Identity information - Full names, document numbers, issue/expiry dates
Document types - Passport, national ID, driver's license, etc.
Document details - Issuing country, document status (active/expired)
Document metadata - Creation date, last updated date
Emergency contacts - Names, phone numbers, relationships
Personal notes - Text notes for personal organization

2. App Preferences (Stored Locally Only)

Your settings stay on your device:

Theme preference - Light/dark mode or auto
Language preference - App language (40+ languages supported)
Notification settings - Local notification preferences

3. Technical Information (Device Only)

Minimal technical data used for app functionality:

Device model - For compatibility and proper rendering
OS version - For feature compatibility
App version - For update management

Data Export and Deletion

You can manage your data at any time:

Export Data: Use the in-app export feature to save your documents as a local file
Delete Individual Documents: Tap any document to edit or delete it
Clear All Data: Use the "Clear All Data" option in Settings (requires confirmation)
Complete Removal: Uninstalling the app removes all document data from your device

No account deletion needed - there are no accounts to delete!

Third-Party Services

✅ ZERO THIRD-PARTY DATA SHARING

Digital Identity does NOT use any third-party services that collect your data:

❌ NO Backend servers - No Supabase, Firebase, or cloud services
❌ NO Analytics - No Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or tracking
❌ NO Advertising networks - No Google Ads, Facebook Ads, AdMob
❌ NO Cloud storage - No iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox integration
❌ NO OCR services - No cloud-based document scanning
❌ NO Authentication services - No Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In

Technical Dependencies (No Data Collection):

The app uses standard React Native libraries for local functionality only:

React Native AsyncStorage - Local device storage (no cloud sync)
Expo Localization - Device language detection (for app translation)
React Native Device Info - Device model info (for compatibility, not tracking)

None of these libraries send data to external servers.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Digital Identity is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at umituz9999@gmail.com, and we will delete the information immediately.
