1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Dijitentity: Digital Business Cards ("the App") handles your information. Dijitentity: Digital Business Cards is a digital business card and identity application developed by Umit UZ that lets you create, customize, and share your professional profile.

Dijitentity is designed with privacy as a core principle. All your identity data stays on your device. The App does not require an account and does not collect personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Dijitentity does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on remote servers. The professional details you enter are stored only on your device.

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Digital identity: Your name, job title, company, bio, and linked social profiles (LinkedIn, X, Instagram)
  • Card styling: Selected card style, theme, and customization choices
  • Preferences: Onboarding state and display preferences

3. No Account or Login Required

Dijitentity: Digital Business Cards does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

Dijitentity uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks. QR codes and NFC exchange are handled entirely on your device.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

Dijitentity: Digital Business Cards does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

Dijitentity: Digital Business Cards requires an internet connection only for:

  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support)
  • Opening the social profile links (LinkedIn, X, Instagram) you add to your card

Creating, customizing, and sharing your digital card works fully offline. NFC exchange also works without an internet connection.

7. Photo Library Access

Dijitentity requests write-only access to your photo library only when you choose to save your digital card as an image. The App can only add images it creates; it cannot read or access your existing photos. Permission is requested once and can be withdrawn at any time in iOS Settings.

8. NFC Sharing

Dijitentity can read NFC tags to receive or share digital identity data using Apple's Core NFC framework. NFC is used only when you actively initiate a share or receive action. No data is transmitted to any server; identity data is exchanged directly between devices.

9. Data Sharing

Dijitentity: Digital Business Cards does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

10. Children's Privacy

Dijitentity: Digital Business Cards is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

You can edit or clear your digital identity from within the App at any time. Deleting the App from your device removes all locally stored data.

12. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
