1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Goalio: Focus & Task Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Goalio: Focus & Task Tracker is a focus timer and task tracker that provides:

  • Pomodoro-style focus timer with customizable durations
  • Task management with priorities, notes, and Pomodoro estimation
  • Brain dump for quick idea capture
  • Daily and weekly progress tracking with streak counting
  • Gamified room decoration system unlocked by focus milestones
  • Achievement badges for productivity milestones
  • App blocking via Apple Screen Time API
  • Optional iCloud sync (Pro feature)

3. Eligibility

The App is available to anyone who downloads it from the Apple App Store. By using the App, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.

4. Accounts

Goalio: Focus & Task Tracker does not require an account or registration. No login, email, or password is needed to use any feature. All data is stored locally on your device, with optional iCloud sync for premium subscribers.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

5.1 Goalio Pro Subscription

Goalio: Focus & Task Tracker offers auto-renewable subscription plans (weekly, monthly, and yearly) that unlock premium features, including:

  • Advanced app blocking with custom schedules, strict mode, and daily time limits
  • Full session history with weekly and monthly trend charts
  • iCloud sync across your devices
  • Widgets

5.2 Free Tier

The App includes a generous free tier with core functionality: Pomodoro timer, task management, basic app blocking, room decorations, achievements, and basic progress tracking.

5.3 Payment and Renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5.4 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple Account Settings.

5.5 Restore Purchases

If you have previously purchased a subscription, you can restore it through the "Restore Purchases" button within the App.

5.6 Apple Standard EULA

In-app purchases are subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

6. Screen Time and App Blocking

Goalio uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to provide app blocking functionality. This feature requires you to grant permission through the system Screen Time prompt. Goalio can only read the list of apps you choose to block and cannot access content within those apps. All blocking rules are stored locally on your device.

7. iCloud Sync

iCloud sync is an optional premium feature that stores your preferences and focus sessions in your personal iCloud account. The developer cannot access this data. You can disable sync at any time through your device's iCloud settings.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its code, design, graphics, and content, belong to Umit UZ. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, copy, or distribute the App or its content
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass subscription validation mechanisms

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. The developer does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will improve your productivity or focus.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Umit UZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

12. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
