1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ReadManager: Read, Save, Track ("the App") handles your information. ReadManager: Read, Save, Track is a read-later and reading-list tracking application developed by Umit UZ with a gamified library, progress tracking, and a discovery feed.

ReadManager is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your library, notes, and progress stay on your device. The App does not require an account and does not collect personal information.

2. Information We Collect

ReadManager does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on remote servers. Your saved items, annotations, progress, and stats are stored exclusively on your device. The discovery feed is curated and scored locally — it is not personalized by a server.

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Library: Saved articles, books, links, podcasts, and videos with progress, tags, and favorites
  • Annotations: Private notes and insights you add to items
  • Progress & stats: XP, level, daily streaks, weekly goals, and achievement badges
  • Interests & preferences: Your interests, preferred content types, and display settings

3. No Account or Login Required

ReadManager: Read, Save, Track does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

ReadManager uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or cloud services. Discovery and recommendations are computed locally on your device.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

ReadManager: Read, Save, Track does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

ReadManager: Read, Save, Track requires an internet connection only for:

  • Opening the links you save (in-app browser or external browser)
  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support)

Saving, organizing, tracking progress, and browsing the discovery feed all work fully offline. Opening a saved web link requires an internet connection.

7. Data Sharing

ReadManager: Read, Save, Track does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

8. Children's Privacy

ReadManager: Read, Save, Track is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete individual items or clear your library from within the App. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.

10. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
