1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Savfe: Family Safety & Check-Ins ("the App") handles your information. Savfe: Family Safety & Check-Ins is a family safety, location, and check-in application developed by Umit UZ with safe-zone check-ins, SOS alerts, driving stats, and emergency contacts.

Savfe is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your location and safety data stay on your device — Savfe has no server and does not transmit your location to any backend. The App does not require an account. Location is used on-device for your safety features, and you can turn location sharing off at any time.

2. Information We Collect

Savfe does not collect personal information on remote servers. Your location history, safe zones, check-ins, driving statistics, and emergency contacts are stored locally on your device. Because Savfe has no backend, your location is not transmitted to any server or shared off-device in this version.

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Location data: Your device location (including background location for safe-zone check-ins and geofence alerts), stored locally
  • Safe zones & check-ins: Safe zones (home, work, school) with radii, and your check-in / arrival / departure events
  • Driving & activity: Driving safety scores, trips, speed and distance stats, and your activity feed
  • Emergency contacts: Emergency contacts (doctors, police, family) you store for one-tap calling
  • Preferences: Location-sharing toggles, SOS settings, and notification preferences

3. No Account or Login Required

Savfe: Family Safety & Check-Ins does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

Savfe uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or cloud backends. All location and safety data is processed and stored locally on your device. There is no server-side data sharing in this version.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

Savfe: Family Safety & Check-Ins does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

Savfe: Family Safety & Check-Ins requires an internet connection only for:

  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support)
  • Placing calls to your stored emergency contacts when you tap them

Core safety features — location, safe-zone check-ins, SOS alerts, driving stats, and emergency contacts — work on-device. No location or safety data is sent to any server.

7. Location Access & Background Location

Savfe uses your device location (Apple CoreLocation) for its safety features — showing your position on the map, triggering automatic check-ins when you enter or leave safe zones, and computing driving and trip statistics. To enable safe-zone check-ins while the App is in the background, Savfe may use background location updates; this is used only for the on-device features described here. Savfe has no server and does not transmit your location to any backend. You can deny or withdraw location permission (Always or While Using) at any time in iOS Settings.

8. Data Sharing

Savfe: Family Safety & Check-Ins does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

9. Children's Privacy

Savfe: Family Safety & Check-Ins is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Savfe is intended for adult users managing family safety. The App is not directed at children under the age of 13.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

You can clear your location history, safe zones, and data from within the App. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.

11. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
