This Privacy Policy explains how Lynx: Breakup Recovery ("the App") handles your information. Lynx: Breakup Recovery is a breakup recovery and emotional healing application developed by Umit UZ that supports you through journaling, mood tracking, healing exercises, and daily insights.

Lynx is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your journal entries, moods, and reflections stay on your device. The App does not require an account and does not collect personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Lynx does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on remote servers. Your journal, mood logs, and reflections are stored exclusively on your device.

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored exclusively on your device:

  • Breakup date & journey: Your breakup date, day counter, and current streak ('Best Run' progress)
  • Journal & reflections: Journal entries, reflections, tags, and gratitude notes you write
  • Mood tracking: Daily mood check-ins and emotional logs
  • Healing progress: Completed healing exercises, breathing sessions, achievements, and daily insights viewed
  • Reminders & preferences: Daily reminder settings, notification preferences, and display choices

3. No Account or Login Required

Lynx: Breakup Recovery does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind. All functionality is accessible immediately on launch without any credentials.

4. Third-Party Services

Lynx uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks. Daily reminders are delivered as local notifications, and home-screen widgets read only your on-device progress.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

Lynx: Breakup Recovery does not integrate any analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), or third-party tracking of any kind. There are no cookies, beacons, or similar tracking mechanisms.

6. Internet Usage

Lynx: Breakup Recovery requires an internet connection only for:

  • Opening external links (privacy policy, terms, support, and crisis-support resources)

All journaling, mood tracking, healing exercises, insights, and widgets work fully offline.

7. Data Sharing

Lynx: Breakup Recovery does not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties. Since no personal data is collected by the developer, there is nothing to share.

8. Children's Privacy

Lynx: Breakup Recovery is not directed at children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Lynx is intended for adult users and is not directed at children under the age of 13.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete individual journal entries, moods, and reflections, or reset your journey from within the App. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data.

10. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
