1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Lynx: Breakup Recovery ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Lynx: Breakup Recovery is a breakup recovery and emotional healing application that provides:

  • Day counter and streak tracking from your breakup date
  • Journaling and reflections with tags and gratitude notes
  • Daily mood check-ins and emotional tracking
  • Guided healing exercises and breathing sessions
  • Achievements and daily insights to mark your progress
  • Home-screen widgets and local daily reminders

3. Eligibility

The App is available to anyone who downloads it from the Apple App Store. By using the App, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.

4. Accounts

Lynx: Breakup Recovery does not require an account or registration. No login, email, or password is needed to use any feature. All data is stored locally on your device.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Lynx is entirely free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no ads.

6. Mental Health & Crisis Support

Lynx is a self-help and journaling tool for navigating a breakup. It is not a medical or mental-health product and is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are in distress or in crisis, please contact a qualified mental-health professional or a crisis line (such as the Crisis Text Line) in your region immediately. In a life-threatening emergency, call your local emergency number. The developer provides crisis-support links for convenience only and is not responsible for the content or availability of third-party services.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its code, design, graphics, and content, belong to Umit UZ. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Modify, copy, or distribute the App or its content
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass subscription validation mechanisms

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. The developer does not guarantee that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Using the App will help you recover from a breakup or improve your mental health
  • Insights or exercises will be appropriate or effective for your situation

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Umit UZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on the App for mental-health, emotional, or crisis support.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
