1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Piony: Learn & Play Piano ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

Piony: Learn & Play Piano is a piano learning application that provides:

  • Interactive piano keyboard with real soundfont-based audio
  • Falling-notes song playback for learning songs by ear
  • 4-stage structured lesson path (Note Reading, Rhythm, Chords & Harmony, Melody & Songs)
  • Daily challenges to practice regularly
  • Metronome with adjustable BPM
  • Progress tracking with XP, levels, streaks, and accuracy
  • 16 achievements across songs, lessons, streaks, notes, and milestones

3. Eligibility

The App is available to anyone who downloads it from the Apple App Store. By using the App, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.

4. Accounts

Piony: Learn & Play Piano does not require an account or registration. No login, email, or password is needed to use any feature. Optional iCloud sync uses your existing Apple ID through CloudKit.

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

5.1 Piony Pro Subscription

Piony: Learn & Play Piano offers auto-renewable subscription plans (monthly and annual) that unlock premium features, including:

  • Unlimited song playback (free tier: 1 play)
  • All 4 lesson stages (free tier: none)
  • Extended metronome range (40-240 BPM vs 80-120)
  • Detailed progress analytics

5.2 Free Tier

The free tier includes access to the interactive piano, metronome (80-120 BPM), daily challenges, and 1 free song play.

5.3 Payment and Renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5.4 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple Account Settings.

5.5 Restore Purchases

If you have previously purchased a subscription, you can restore it through the "Restore Purchases" button within the App.

5.6 Apple Standard EULA

In-app purchases are subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

6. Intellectual Property

All rights to the App, including code, design, soundfont assets, and lesson content, belong to Umit UZ. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license for personal, non-commercial use.

Licensed songs included in the App are used with permission and may not be extracted or redistributed.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Extract or redistribute soundfont assets or song content
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass subscription validation

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties. The developer does not guarantee that the App will teach you piano or improve your musical skills.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Umit UZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
